Neil Gaiman is Making a Video Game – Wayward Manor Neil Gaiman has revealed he is making his first video game. Gaiman revealed his plans in a video announcement which you can watch below: The famed Doctor Who writer is creating a puzzle/adventure game called Wayward Manor in collaboration with game developers, The Odd Gentlemen. Gaiman explains why for the first time he is turning his hand to video games, “For quite a while, there’s been a story that I wanted to tell. Something inspired by the kinds of films I loved when I was a kid – things like Arsenic and Old Lace, Blithe Spirit, The Man Who Came To Dinner. “These crazy, mordant, playful funny, weird, things that they made in the first half of the 20th century. “But I kept running into the same problem which is it didn’t really feel like a novel. It felt like something you would have to experience yourself.” The first preview for Wayward Manor is expected to release for PC, Mac and tablets later this year. You are able to pre-order the game at Who Haunts Neil Fans who pre-order will be able to win limited-edition merchandise, including the chance to name a character within the game and the chance to have a private dinner with Gaiman.
