Nippon Ichi America have announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker will be coming to the 3DS in Europe this autumn. The game was released in North America 10 days ago and it was unknown if the game would eventually reach European shores.

The Japanese dungeon-crawling RPG was originally released in Japan in 1997 on the SEGA Saturn console, with another release for the Playstation in 1999. The game will receive full English localisation as well as new gameplay features including new demon characters.

Soul Hackers delivers a first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG experience set in a future where technology and otherworldly forces meet in a macabre fusion of cyberpunk futurism and gothic horror. A first-person sci-fi RPG epic, Soul Hackers tells of a city held up as a beacon of humanity’s triumph of technology, but with an infernal secret. In this would-be utopia, a group of hackers takes on a centuries-old mystic society, and a battle for control over humanity’s fate is about to begin.
