Setting the Stage at MCM Comic Con Birmingham…
MCM Comic Con Birmingham is a haven for pop culture enthusiasts, drawing fans from all walks of life to celebrate their shared love for comics, movies, anime, and gaming. Osh (attending on his own for a change!) was more than eager to be a part of this vibrant tapestry, armed with camera, gimbal and fueled by a passion for videography!
Trying to film every single cosplay at the convention is one mean feat, and while Osh didn’t manage to film absolutely everyone, he got to film an incredible array of costumes across the weekend!
Cosplay at MCM Comic Con Birmingham!
As soon as he stepped onto the convention floor, Osh was greeted by an explosion of creativity. The cosplayers at MCM Comic Con Birmingham brought their A-game, donning meticulously crafted costumes that paid homage to characters from every corner of the geek universe.
From superheroes to anime icons, fantasy warriors to video game legends, the diversity of costumes was awe-inspiring.
Osh wasted no time in navigating through the crowds and capturing the intricate details of the cosplayers’ hard work and dedication.
It’s such an incredible convention with so much to see and do, from special celebrity guests, to famous cosplays, to a massive dealers hall and artist’s alley! If you haven’t been to MCM Comic Con Birmingham before, you absolutely should – it’ll be one of the cons of 2024 you won’t want to miss!
We have never seen so many Christmas-themed cosplays – and of course, our usual favourites, from Miraculous Ladybug, Critical Role, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Five Nights at Freddy’s!
Lights, Camera, COSPLAY!
The highlight of our MCM Comic Con Birmingham adventure was, of course, the filming of our cosplay music video. Osh filmed some amazing solo stuff and some amazing duos and trios, but also epic group shots, and it was a total pleasure getting to edit them together in the video.
