The Walking Dead is one our all time favourite TV shows here at the Eighty Sixth Floor, but as much as we love it we do admit there are a few mysteries/plot holes in the series.

Luckily Entertainment Weekly have been talking to Norman Reedus who plays Daryl Dixon and they have asked him one of our most burning questions, how does Daryl manage to never run out of arrows ?

“I try to recycle the arrows as much as possible,” says Reedus in the video interview.

We admit we’ve seen Daryl retrieve his arrows plenty of times which is a great nod to the realism within the Walking Dead which makes it such a great TV show however we’ve also seen plenty of times when Daryl hasn’t been able to get his precious arrows back. How does he keep himself supplied ?

“They go on runs and we raid places and this is Georgia so that is one of the weapons that people hunt with,” says Reedus. “So it’s not unheard of to find more arrows.” Reedus also alludes to the off-screen world which we don’t get to see in which mundane tasks are carried out e.g his arrow stockpile, “When you show this large of a time frame, there’s a lot of things that are sort of understood. You never see us go to the bathroom, but we do that.”

Can’t really argue with that… not that we’d want to pick a fight with Daryl !

Reedus also spoke about the development of his character in the highly anticipated season four of the Walking Dead. Now that he has lost Merle, “Daryl has the opportunity to become the man he was never going to be.”

Bring on October.
