Now we all know playing Black Ops can get a little addictive, especially when you’re on a killing streak but Australian Okan Kaya has taken it a step further and has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest ever gaming session. He played Call of Duty: Black Ops II for an amazing 135 hours straight !

Now before you say that’s humanly impossible, the conditions for the marathon as set out by the Guinness World Records state that game players must take a ten minute break each hour. Alternatively the players could save up these ten minute breaks to use to eat or sleep properly. With these conditions in place It took over seven days for the challenge to be completed. (These conditions were set in place to stop deaths that have resulted from excessive game playing. Do not try this at home !)

At the end of the session Kaya was 37th on the Black Ops II world leaderboard. Not bad. I wonder how much time the others are putting in.
